Refund Policy

Last updated: September 21, 2026

This Refund Policy is part of our Terms of Service and explains how cancellations and refunds work for Resumaire, operated by K3 Professional Services.

Cancel anytime

You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the term you already paid for, and it will not renew after that. We do not lock you into long-term contracts.

7-day satisfaction guarantee

Changed your mind about a new subscription? Contact us within 7 days of your first payment and, provided you have not generated anything on the plan, we will refund that payment in full. This applies to your first purchase of a plan, once per customer. It does not apply to the one-time 7-day pass, to Concierge, or to single services bought on their own — those are covered separately below.

By “not generated anything” we mean no resumes, cover letters, interview prep, cheat sheets, practice tests or other AI-written work produced on the paid plan. Signing in, filling in your profile, importing an existing resume and looking around all cost you nothing and count against nothing.

We ask this because that work costs us real money the moment it is produced, and we would rather be straight about it than quietly refuse refunds later. If you want to see what this is like before paying, the free ATS check and the career discovery assessment are both free, need no account, and are the same tools we use ourselves.

Renewals

Renewal charges are generally non-refundable, because you are notified in advance and can cancel before a renewal to avoid the charge. If a renewal charged you in error or you forgot to cancel and have not used the Service in the new term, contact us — we review these case by case and aim to be fair.

One-time 7-day pass

The one-time pass is a short, immediate-access product. Because access begins right away, it is non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law.

Concierge

Concierge is a one-time fee for work we do by hand, so it is treated differently from a subscription. If you change your mind before we hold your call, contact us and we will refund the fee in full. After the call has taken place the fee is non-refundable, because the research and preparation are already done and the time is already spent.

If something genuinely goes wrong — we miss what we committed to, or you do not receive what this page describes — contact us anyway. We review those case by case and aim to be fair.

Single services bought on their own

You can buy individual pieces of Concierge — a strategy call, a tailored resume, a cover letter, an interview cheat sheet, researched openings, or a portfolio build. Each one is work done by a person, so:

  • Before we start work, you can cancel for a full refund, whatever the reason. Nothing has been spent but a place in the queue.
  • Once we have started, the fee is non-refundable, because the time is already being spent on your behalf.
  • If we miss the date we gave you, that is our failure, not yours. You choose: we finish it and you pay nothing, or we refund you in full.

The date we give you is counted in working days and starts when we have everything we asked you for — not when you pay. Your order page shows that date from the moment you buy, and tells you if we are still waiting on something from you.

How to request a refund

Email legal@k3professionalservices.com from the address on your account, and include the date of the charge. We typically respond within a few business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Stripe; the time to appear on your statement depends on your bank.

Customers in the UK and the EU

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you have a statutory right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days of entering into it. That right exists whatever this policy says, and the paragraphs above do not take it away.

For a digital service like this one, that right can end early — but only if you ask us to start straight away and acknowledge that doing so ends it. That is what you are agreeing to at checkout when you accept these terms, and it is why the box is there. Until you generate something on the plan, your 14 days are untouched.

If you cancel within those 14 days having already used the service, we may charge you a proportionate amount for what was supplied before you cancelled, and refund the rest. To cancel, email legal@k3professionalservices.com — a sentence saying you are cancelling is enough, and no particular form of words is required.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer-protection laws that apply to you. Where those laws give you more than this policy does, they win.
